Ingredients
Scale
- 1 box of white cake mix
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons of white chocolate extract
- 1 container of white sanding sugar
- 24 chocolate hearts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a standing mixer, combine the cake mix, vegetable oil, white chocolate extract, and eggs until smooth.
- Take about 3 tablespoons of the mixture and roll it into a ball with your hands.
- Pour the sanding sugar into a bowl and coat each cookie ball with the sugar.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the cookie balls about 2 inches apart.
- Lightly press down on each cookie ball to form a thick disk.
- Bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Once done, allow them to cool for 1 minute.
- Gently press a chocolate heart into the center of each warm cookie and let them cool completely before serving!
Notes
- You can substitute the white chocolate extract with vanilla extract for a different flavor profile.
- If you can’t find white sanding sugar, regular granulated sugar will work fine, though the texture and appearance might be slightly different.
- Make sure to let the cookies cool completely before storing them, as this will help them set and avoid breaking.
- These cookies store well in an airtight container for up to a week.
- Feel free to get creative with other fun shaped candies for a personal touch!
