- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup Finely Chopped Onions
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Thyme
Instructions
- Prepare the meatball mixture by combining ground beef, breadcrumbs, onions, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix gently until just combined.
- Sear the meatballs in a skillet over medium-high heat with oil until golden brown on all sides, about 10 minutes.
- Make the gravy by melting butter in the skillet, whisking in flour, and gradually adding beef broth while stirring. Add soy sauce, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened, about 5-10 minutes.
- Combine the meatballs back into the gravy and let simmer for 15-20 minutes. Serve over mashed potatoes or buttered noodles.
