Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for blackberry filling)
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Cooking spray for greasing

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, 1 cup of granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
