Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups fresh blackberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for blackberry filling)
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Cooking spray for greasing
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, 1 cup of granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Add the cold, cubed butter and blend it into the dry mixture using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
