Ingredients
Scale
- 1½ cups chunky or creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 oz bag of chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons grated paraffin wax (optional for shine)
- Sprinkles (optional for decoration)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Roll mixture into small balls and place them on a lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips and paraffin wax (if using) over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
- Add sprinkles if desired and refrigerate until chocolate is set.
Notes
- If you prefer a smoother texture, choose creamy peanut butter. For a crunchier bite, go with chunky peanut butter.
- You can skip the paraffin wax if you don’t mind a less shiny coating, but it helps the chocolate set faster and gives it a nice glossy finish.
- For extra fun, try adding different colored sprinkles or small candy pieces to make the treats festive for holidays or special occasions.
- Store the peanut butter balls in an airtight container in the fridge to keep them fresh.
