- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 tub vanilla/white frosting
- Red food coloring
- Blue food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
- Divide the batter into three bowls, coloring one red, one blue, and leaving one white.
- Coat a bundt cake pan with non-stick spray.
- Layer the batters in the pan: red, then white, then blue.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely for 1 hour.
- Microwave some frosting for 15 seconds until pourable. Frost the cake with the white frosting.
- Drizzle the colored frostings on top and add festive toppings.
